Donney Rose presents: MASTERCLASSES (Writing & Organizing)

Join award-winning poet, teaching artist, Kennedy Center Citizen Artist Fellow, and advocacy journalist, Donney Rose, for a week-long social justice writing workshop series with an emphasis on creative and editorial writing.

Writing Resistance is a beginner-level writing workshop designed to equip poets, essayists, columnists, and opinion-editorial writers with the necessary tools to write truth to power as a means of dismantling systemic oppression.

Participants will read and study examples of social justice-oriented literature while being provided with detailed scaffolding to construct their own writing around topics that are of significance to them, utilizing either creative or editorial writing styles.
